Welcome to Zorachka!

This Homam* mobile application (“Homam App”) is operated by Zorachka Inc. and its affiliates Zorachka Ltd. and Zorachka Soft LLC (together “Zorachka” or “we”, “us”).

For Zorachka your privacy comes first. For transparency, this privacy policy provides detailed information about personal data we collect via Homam App and how we use it.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT FROM YOU AND HOW WE USE IT

We did our best to minimize personal data collected from our users. We will not sell your personal data to any third parties. We will not share your personal data with a third party, rent, disclose or sell it.

We only collect and process information that is strictly necessary for the operation of the Homam camera and Homam App (together: “Homam”). For any new processing purpose, we will request your explicit consent separately.In no event will we access video stored on your Homam camera or downloaded to the Homam App.

Personal data you provide to us directly

When you sign up to use Homam, we collect the following personal data:

  • Email used as the user identifier (login) and to reset the password
  • Password used for your access to the Homam App

Personal data we collect automatically

When you access or use Homam, we automatically collect the following information.

Device information:

  • Hardware model used for technical support and statistics
  • Information about the operating system and its version used for technical support and statistics

Location information:

  • External IP address of the user’s device used for Internet connection
  • External IP address of Homam camera to identify the country where Homam camera is used and use the nearest server, which reduces video delays and ensures stable transmission of video
  • Local IP address of Homam camera to let the user’s device find Homam camera in the local network
  • Time zone of the user to enable correct rewinding of video

App and Homam camera usage data:

  • Date of registration of the user and user identification number and public key for technical support and statistics
  • Date of Homam camera activation for technical support and statistics
  • Homam App version for technical support and statistics
  • Information on whether Homam camera is on for the user interface function
  • Serial number, model, identification number, and public key of Homam camera for technical support and statistics
  • The presence in the Homam App of: the hash of the Homam camera serial number, the Homam camera and user public keys, and their hashing values for technical support

2. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

We are committed to providing you with vast privacy rights in respect to your personal data.

  • Right to deletion. You can demand that we delete your personal data collected by us.
  • Right to opt out. You can ask us to stop processing your personal data, either generally or for specific purposes. However, please keep in mind that we only collect and process personal data that is strictly necessary for us to perform our services. Hence, it is highly likely that we will not be able to perform our services after you withdraw your consent to processing of your personal data.
  • Right to access. You have the right to request information about which of your personal data we have, to access all your personal data and to receive a copy of it in a structured and portable form.
  • Right to be informed. Before we collect any personal data, we shall inform you about the categories of personal data to be collected and processed, purposes of such collection and processing, as well as your rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, to know the period of data retention, and to see our contact details in the privacy policy.
  • Right to complain. Subject to applicable laws, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority about any of our activities that you deem are not compliant with the law.
  • Right to correct personal data. If you believe that your personal data is inaccurate, you have the right to contact us and ask us to correct that data.

3. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

We will implement any applicable changes within a month after your communication with us. In some cases, this may take up to 3 months (for example, for full deletion of personal data stored in our backup systems). We will let you know if we need more time and explain the reasons for the delay.

4. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

When you use Homam

We will retain your personal data as long as your account is active, and only for as long as it serves the processing purposes identified in Section 1 of this Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

After you stop using Homam

We will immediately delete all personal data connected with your account if you press the button “Delete Account” in the Homam App. If you do not have an account, or delete the Homam App without deleting the account, or stop using the Homam App, we will retain your personal data for 3 years from the day when you last used the Homam App or deleted it, and then we will delete all your personal data.

If you remove data from your account, you will no longer see it in the Homam App, but some backups of the data may remain in our archive servers for a reasonable period of time due to the technical solutions we use. However, we undertake to delete any such backups within a reasonable period of time.

5. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We take all reasonable and appropriate measures to protect all personal data collected from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. This includes organizational and technical measures based on best practice.

6. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We share certain personal information with third parties who help us to provide our services. Such third parties may include: (1) payment service providers, (2) vendors who help us with the performance of our services and the delivery of our products, and (3) Zorachka Group companies, which include Zorachka Ltd (Cyprus), Zorachka Inc. (USA), Zorachka Soft LLC (Belarus), Zirochka Dev LLC (Ukraine).

We use all appropriate safeguards to ensure that any international transfers of your personal data within Zorachka do not violate your rights.

We do not sell or transfer your personal data to any third party other than those mentioned in this Section 6.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Homam is not intended for children and we do not intentionally collect information about children under the age of 13 (16 for EU residents). Homam does not collect personal data from any person Zorachka actually knows is under the age of 13 (16 for EU residents). If you think that this may be the case, please contact us at support@zorachka.com and we will take the required steps, including deletion of such information.

8. COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites you visit save on your device. Cookies can be used to collect, store, use and share bits of information about your activities across websites. For example, cookies enable a website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

We only use the “homam-session” cookie, which is automatically generated when a new user session starts. This cookie is essential to keep the session “alive” and keep you logged in. Without this cookie you would not be able to perform any action requiring authentication in the Homam App. This cookie is temporary and is deleted when you close the Homam App.

9. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to and may change this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Homam App. Your continued use of the Homam App after the effective date of an updated version of the Privacy Policy will indicate your acceptance of the Privacy Policy as modified. In some cases, we may ask you to accept changes to the Privacy Policy explicitly.
